About Us
Broke Boutique is far from your average fashion brand. Founded by G in 2012 as a festival-decor business, it quickly evolved into the sustainable fashion brand we know and love today. By 2014, G had mastered the art of designing luxury fashion from reclaimed materials, with a focus on non-recyclable waste thatwould otherwise end up in landfill.
One of the core materials used in Broke Boutique's most popular designs is old tractor inner tubes, it might sound unconventional, but it really works! In fact, G's creativity with reclaimed materials has even led to brightly colored costumes and outfits that were once bouncy castles.

Broke Boutique draws inspiration from a wide range of sources, but a love of cult comics, sci-fi and punk aesthetics is what truly fuels the creativity.
From the bold colors and graphic imagery of classic comics to the edgy, DIY aesthetic of punk and post-punk culture, G's designs are a reflection of her rebellious spirit and her commitment to sustainability. By using reclaimed materials, G is able to create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that are both stylish and eco-friendly.
Through her designs, G is also challenging the traditional notions of beauty and style, proving that eco-friendly fashion can still be bold, creative, and cutting-edge. By combining her passion with her commitment to sustainability G has created a fashion brand that is truly unique and inspiring.
As a sustainable brand, Broke Boutique is committed to slow fashion and ethical production practices. In addition to using reclaimed materials, Broke Boutique's butyl rubber is also latex and animal-product free, making it an excellent alternative for vegans who are allergic to latex.
Based in North London, G works out of her beautiful studio in Seven Sisters. If you're in the area, you can arrange a free fitting and try on a selection of products that are in stock.
